Overview

Facilities Associate / Maintenance Technician

RiverWoods in Manchester is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and help provide excellent and quality customer service in support of our residents and community. This position is Part Time weekend position working Saturday and Sunday 8am to 4pm.Snow removal may also require additional flexibility of schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Performs general repairs and maintenance tasks, responding to Work Orders in order of priority or as directed. Responds to urgent requests from staff and residents in a timely manner.
  • Performs routine preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.
  • Responds to pull cord and pendant activations or alarms and responds to all other emergency situations as required. Works with emergency responders to ensure the fastest possible response time to 911 calls.
  • Performs custodial functions for common areas including public bathrooms, at all times that housekeeping is not on duty or unavailable.
  • Participates in seasonal snow clean-up, cleaning and moving resident cars and performing other snow-related duties.
  • Supports after-hour emergency requirements. May be subject to “On Call” status.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum two years in a building maintenance role essential. 

Experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC or another trade is desirable.

Valid Driver's License is required
